If you live in Las Vegas, like we do, or travel here often, you know Las Vegas has truly changed a lot over the years, like many other destinations. Pre-Covid, Las Vegas
still represented a value travel destination. Post Covid, since 2020, that has changed.
Online gaming grew substantially, as did tribal casinos in Southern California – within our primary drive-in visitor market. Many strip casinos sold their properties, and now have landlords to pay rent to, thus losing pricing flexibility that has led to resort fees, increased room, food and beverage costs.

The combined result is less traffic, job losses, economic uncertainty with some distressed casinos heading towards closure.Dreamers built Las Vegas, and they have reimaged it several times in the past. This time around the over-built Las Vegas casino lodging economics have shifted. Our Founder sees that as an exciting opportunity to acquire and convert a large scale casino property into a non-gaming, locals Mega resort, with Marissa's Reef For Heavenly Helpers - a powerful signature memorial aquarium exhibit.

The Las Vegas Aquarium Plaza Resort & Spa – (Aquarium Plaza) is a flagship development proposed by AngelPreneur Venture Group (APVG) - in partnership with its GridZero, ClubZERO Rewards, and non-profit CBO Foundation. Whether or not we can acquire a failing hotel/casino, or just build one from starch, our Founder is determined to build in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is an entrepreneurial campus of innovation and creativity. The Aquarium Plaza is designed to build upon that legacy and “Make Las Vegas Affordable Again”, by becoming:
• The corporate headquarters for all our operations
• The physical heart of our innovative membership centric ecosystem
• An ocean-themed destination in the desert - a new iconic Instagram & selfie landmark
• A fully integrated Mega-Resort built for locals, and for our out-of-state member guests
And it will be acquired, built and staffed in real time through: The AngelPreneur: Building The Dream In Real Time - web series hosted by our Founder starting in late summer 2026. Members won’t just be able to watch. They will help build and staff it with us.
Why This Project Makes Sense
As outlined, Las Vegas has changed. Some parts need to be reimagined and rethought. Some multi-billion dollar casino properties are heading towards bankruptcy and potential sale, we want to be ready to grad one. We have identified three properties that each have over 1,000 keys, that we cannot disclose yet, but could fit our conversion model perfectly.
These luxury properties are not failing because they’re projects are not appealing, they lack traffic, increased pressure from lenders and shareholders to stop the negative cashflows bleeding profitable sister properties down with them. The tourist traffic is likely to continue dropping in the years ahead, and become a condition even the deep pocket casinos cannot change, due to:
• Online gaming has permanently shifted in person gambling demand.
• Tribal casino expansion in Southern California and elsewhere has decentralized traffic.
• Many Strip properties are now owned by hedge funds that require operators to pay rent.
• Rising lease obligations have removed pricing flexibility.
• Room, food, and entertainment prices have climbed beyond what many travelers support.
In a difficult economy, consumers demand value. The Aquarium Plaza Resort & Spa answers that shift by converting one of these large existing casino properties into:
• A non-gaming membership-driven lodging base
• A locals-focused value destination – that also attracts our members

The Aquarium Plaza Resort & Spa, when built, will become the signature property of ClubZERO Hospitality, but they will develop or acquire other lodging properties within California coastal and wine regions, Hawaiian Islands, and Reno/Lake Tahoe in Northern Nevada in the years ahead for its members. The Las Vegas Aquarium Plaza will feature many unique business models, briefly outlined on the AQ Plaza Features webpage.
