Our Founder/CEO shares a quick overview of the CBO Foundation

The ClearBlue Oceans Foundation

A Purpose-Driven Nonprofit Tackling Environmental and Ocean Issues

The Clear Blue Oceans Foundation (CBO Foundation) is a Hawaiian non-profit currently being reestablished as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Founded by entrepreneur and impact driven visionary Peter "The AngelPreneur" Ortmann, 70, aka: The Shark. The CBO Foundation has evolved over the years - from increasing ocean issue awareness to meeting the increasingly complex challenges of our oceans, environment and agricultural food production. The Shark authored two free e-books to expose the ongoing chem-trailing of our skies, and the truth about climate change. They will be available for download in early March by clicking on the images seen here.

Our Origin: Oceans in Crisis

The CBO Foundation began with a singular mission in 2007: to raise awareness and support solutions for the plastic waste and debris pollution crisis devastating our oceans, tropical reefs and remote islands. From microplastics in marine food chains to the floating debris choking aquatic ecosystems, we sought to educate, inspire action, and promote sustainable innovation like Plastic2Power, one of the AngelPreneur Impact Fund companies.

The ocean plastic packaging waste crisis is global in scale, kills millions of marine life and birds each year as these videos share. The CBO Foundation intends to provide funding and support to those organizations that conduct ocean and coastal beach clean-ups in California, and Hawaii initially, then elsewhere as funding allows. We will conduct our own island and coastal clean-up projects with a goal to end the life cycle of this plastic waste, with the support of Plastic2Power USA, that will set out to convert mixed plastic packaging waste from the sea and local landfills into usable electricity or transportation fuels.

Our Evolution: Addressing a Broader Humanitarian Emergency

While increasing awareness of our oceans issues will always remain a core focus. Today, the CBO Foundation stands at the forefront of advocacy and solution-building around several pressing and interconnected global issues, including, but not limited to, 1) reducing ocean plastic waste & debris, 2) eliminating the Geo-engineering of our skies, land and weather modification practices that pollute the air we breathe and the soils we grow our food in, and 3) agricultural use of chemicals that drain into and pollute our oceans.

1. Tropical Reef Research & Conservation Center

The primary Tropical Reef Research & Conservation Center (TRRC), will be located in Newport Beach California, with one on the Island of Maui Hawaii, with initial operations beginning in 2027.

To address these issues long-term, our proposed CBO Marine Group plans to build and operate an innovative group of maritime awareness initiatives and programs that includes building a custom research vessel to conduct full-time remote island and coastal clean-up missions. These missions will also conduct marine research and conservation efforts. CBO Foundation will breed reef life to reduce the reef fish currently taken from natural reefs. ClubZERO will allocate 15% of the adjusted member dues income quarterly to the CBO Foundation to fund its programs, awareness efforts and initiatives long-term, including those briefly outlined below:

TRRC will conduct marine life & reef research and training programs for personnel who oversee the ClubZERO aquarium-themed restaurants and exhibits. TRRC will breed a variety of reef fish and other marine life to supply all onsite aquarium projects like Marissa's Reef and the Aquarium Gallery which they will manage.

TRRC will also provide fish to the Tropical Reef Travel Cafe chain being developed by the Impact Fund plus all services aboard the CBO Expedition vessel while on their ocean and island debris clean-up missions.

.

2. Rapid-Response Disaster Relief

The CBO Foundation, in partnership with GridZero MetalWorks, intends to build up to five (5) unique disaster ReliefHUBS, mobile response units to communities affected by natural disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes, and floods. These facilities will provide those impacted by a disaster with power, clean water, basic care like hot showers and flush toilets, plus Ice in the critical days and weeks after catastrophe strikes. We plan to dispatch and operate them as well.

3. ClearBlue Agricultural Resilience Research & Training Center

The CBO Foundation will seek to build & operate its ClearBlue Agricultural Resilience Research & Training Center, on a 35+ acre coastal land parcel along the California Coast, with one on Maui. The goal is to study the growth of citrus and grapevines

under solar powered canopies vs open air growth, to determine the added value of converting existing farm lands into power generating assets, that power atmospheric water makers and train future farmers.

CBO Expeditions

The CBO Marine Group - Maui, Hawaii

The CBO Foundation's most innovative and bold ocean issue awareness initiative is rooted in its CBO Marine Group. We intend to build a 400 foot combo cruise ship and research vessel that will provide extended ocean expeditions and remote island clean-up of reefs and beaches in the Hawaiian Islands, and coastal Channel Islands of California.

The CBO Marine Group will be based in Newport Beach, California once established, as an operating division of the CBO Foundation, with offices in West Maui, Hawaii. subject to the approval of Maui County and Hawaii.

The proposed CBO Marine vessel will be

built similar to the 400 foot dual purpose ship Aranui 5 (seen in the image) sailing within French Polynesia & Tahiti. Our goal: conduct 3 - 6 week extended clean-up missions to the remote Hawaiian islands or coastal areas to recover the plastic waste and debris collected on their reefs & beaches. Through a network of paid volunteers who want to explore these unseen islands and help address the plastic waste issues. ClubZERO will offer expedition cruise packages to members and donors.

ClearBlue Yacht Charters - ECO-SAILING

As an offshore sailor, our Founder decided to create a fully crewed sailing experience out of Maui, Hawaii and Newport Beach, California, as part of the CBO Foundation ocean issue awareness program. The goal will be to build a fleet of identical SunReef 80 ECO (80 foot) solar powered luxury sailing catamarans, for up to 8 adult guests in four staterooms, then offer them to our Founder Members first, then Platinum Members, and large foundation donors for an exotic crewed sailing charter vacations, around the Hawaiian Islands or Channel Islands in California. The program is designed to get people out on the oceans & showcase Hawaiian culture, its history, and the history of the coastal Channel Islands. This will be one of the biggest ClubZERO Rewards redemption values, as similar charters like this cost over $80,000 per week.

Environmental Manipulation By Way of Geoenegineering

One of our core concerns is the lack of truth about ongoing environmental manipulation of our water, air, and farm lands. As one of few organizations courageous enough to confront the truth about the geoengineering and weather modification causing our modern climate instability. These activities are ignored and denied by governments - but impact our global ecosystems and weather patterns for well over 75 years, contributing to contamination, of our water, soil degradation, and atmospheric toxicity of the air we all breathe. Everyone is a victim of this and now has micro-plastics within their bodies. Our message is it needs to stop!

As outlined in our Founders book on this subject seen above, he believes you can’t have an honest conversation about climate change without first acknowledging the unregulated tampering of our skies as it relates to weather events. We recognize openly discussing the truth about geo-engineering and its catastrophic effects is controversial. However, the science and aerial evidence are clear: unregulated atmospheric interventions are happening, and have been for over 75 years. We encourage you to watch “The Dimming" (linked above) a powerful documentary that reveals the magnitude of these programs. Understanding this issue is crucial to developing real climate solutions rather than politically convenient distractions.

Fueled by Purpose, Powered by People

All of the above will be explained in more detail on the cbofoundation.org website once it is relaunched in later this year. Through this synergistic and integrated non-profit business model. One funded in part with an ongoing 15% of the gross monthly dues paid by ClubZERO members, who play a direct role in our advancing real-world solutions to humanitarian and ecological challenges. In addition to these dues contributions, our initiatives are also funded through:

  • City, state and federal disaster relief, marine research or agricultural grants

  • Sponsorship of individual Ocean issue awareness programs by suitable national product & service brands

  • Corporate and individual donors who support our ocean initiatives and receive CBO Medallions as a thank you

A Final Word from Our Founder

"Some will say we’re radical. Others will say we’re crazy. But as Steve Jobs, our Founder's mentor once said: '

"The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.'"

We invite the bold thinkers, truth seekers, and change makers to stand with us. Support the
