The Aquarium Plaza Resort & Spa
(Aquarium Plaza), was originally conceived by our Founder, aka: The Shark, for a 500 acre site around the Kapalua, West Maui airport on the Island of Maui, Hawaii in 2017. By the time he was ready to introduce the conceptual design seen below to Maui officials, the Covid Scamdemic would derail the project in 2020.
However, ClubZERO Hospitality, in partnership with APVG and the CBO Foundation, now intend to build it within a Las Vegas casino/hotel, or build a new resort in Newport Beach area or wine region in California by 2030.
Today, the proposed Aquarium Plaza Resort & Spa - Las Vegas, will become a spiritual place where innovation meets inspiration in a signature destination designed to serve as his flagship resort project, and home to Marissa's Reef For Heavenly Helpers (Marissa's Reef), an aquatic memorial exhibit to honor The Shark's granddaughter.
To become a special place with purpose, love, and passion - built to educate, inspire, and unite those committed to a sustainable future. At the same time it is being built as a public tribute, within a working entrepreneurial showcase resort where sustainability, entertainment, clean food, water, energy and people come together in a heartfelt legacy converge.
The heart and signature attraction of the Aquarium Plaza is Marissa’s Reef, a 80-foot round by 60-foot tall saltwater aquarium - with an awe-inspiring tropical reef ecosystem in its center. Built in memory of Marissa Reyes, our Founder’s 7-year-old granddaughter, born on his birthday on June 24, 1998, and tragically lost in a flash flood in Carefree Arizona on August 9, 2005. This project has taken many turns over the years, and through ClubZERO member funding is finally getting green lighted to proceed.
This immersive exhibit will feature over 100,000 tropical reef fish and marine life, lovingly referred to as SpiritFish, named in honor of other children lost to natural disasters. The aquarium will feature a ReefShark to protect Marissa and her Spiritfish (helpers), representing Grandpa Petey our founder, and reason he is tagged with The Shark nickname. You can see a shark in the above conceptual image rendering. The Reef stands as a living, breathing memorial of hope, healing, and remembrance, anchoring the soul of the Aquarium Plaza in the hearts of many.
The signature feature of this future resort project, can be seen on AQ Report Features web page. will include a full walk-through aquarium experience, unless a much smaller version of the exhibit is incorporated elsewhere. Ideally, The Shark has his eye on two large casinos that might come available in the next two years that are well suited integration of this concept. However, of one does not arise, he hopes to build the Aquarium Resort project with a golf course new Newport Beach or a similar coastal or Santa Barbara County California wine region destination.
